Clacton Camera Club is Clacton’s oldest photographic club.

Formed in 1939, the club continues its ethos of making friends through photography, and it is just as much a social body as a photographic one.

The club welcomes anyone who has an interest in photography, whatever their skill level or medium they use, be it film or digital.  We provide a friendly atmosphere on a Friday evening combining competitions with guest speakers, members’ workshops, fun events and demonstrations.  Although we do not teach photography, many of our members are happy to advise and assist newcomers when asked.  We also have developed an association with Clacton Coastal Academy to encourage youngsters into photography.
